Congressman Kevin Cramer announced today that U.S. Department of Interior (DOI) Secretary Ryan Zinke appointed North Dakota Lieutenant Governor Brent Sanford and North Dakota Department of Mineral Resources Director Lynn Helms to serve as members of his Royalty Policy Committee.
"Obviously North Dakota's role as a key leader in energy development is recognized in today's appointments to the Royalty Policy Committee. No one can represent North Dakota's interests better than Lt. Governor Sanford and Director Helms," said Cramer. "I appreciate President Trump's and Secretary Zinke's wisdom in forming the Committee, and look forward to working with the Administration as key policy issues are considered, and their decisions are implemented."
