U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) released the following statement today regarding President Donald Trump's intent to nominate General Norman Arflack to serve as U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Kentucky:
"I commend President Trump on his intent to nominate retired Brigadier General Norman Arflack of Frankfort to serve as the U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Kentucky. General Arflack's distinguished career of service in the Kentucky National Guard and the Kentucky State Police has equipped him with the necessary experience for this new position. I am grateful that he has chosen to continue serving his community, and I look forward to the Senate confirming his nomination."
