Cortez Masto Files Amendment To Remove Cuts To Medicaid From Trumpcare Bill

U.S. Senator Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) released the following statement on filing her first official floor amendment as a U.S. Senator, an amendment to the latest Trumpcare bill that will remove all language that proposes cuts to Medicaid:
"Hundreds of thousands of low-income Nevada families, women, seniors, children, veterans and people with disabilities benefit from the life-saving services that Medicaid provides. This amendment will protect our most vulnerable from callous attempts to take away their health care. I urge my colleagues to support this crucial amendment, and to fight for lives of those who rely on Medicaid to survive and live healthy lives."
