Rep. Ron DeSantis (FL-06), Chairman of the National Security Subcommittee and a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee, issued the following statement regarding President Trump's comments today on the situation in Venezuela:

"President Trump's comments recognize the disgraceful situation in Venezuela and portend additional support for those fighting Maduro's repressive regime. I applaud his concern for the people of Venezuela and look forward to working with the President to advance additional anti-Maduro policies."
