Rep. Lou Correa released the following statement about the deportation of DACA recipient Juan Manuel Montes:

"I'm saddened to learn a DREAMer was deported for forgetting his wallet. We must do what is right and give DREAMers legal status. Aggressive deportation tactics targeting DREAMers contradict President Trump's promise to protect them and is causing many to live in fear."
