Today, Congressman Lou Correa introduced legislation to mandate the creation of multilingual webpages for the White House and government agencies. Rep. Correa's Bill guarantees access to information in the top five spoken languages in United States -- English, Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog and Vietnamese.
Congressman Correa said, "Access to information is vital to being an informed citizen. This bill is a matter of transparency. It is every Americans right to know what their government is doing in their name. My bill will ensure they are able to access that information."
