Today, Congressman Ted W. Lieu (D | Los Angeles County) issued the following statement after joining the bipartisan Congressional Digital Trade Caucus as a founding Member.

"As more of life takes place behind a computer screen, Congress has a key role to play in answering tough questions about how traditional concepts governing commerce apply to the digital space. E-commerce has transformed the way we think about business, growth, and international trade. This forward-looking caucus focuses on key issues like cross-border data flows, encryption, and protecting an open internet. I greatly look forward to working with each caucus member and co-chairs Reps. DelBene and Paulsen as we strive to ensure that America continues to lead in the 21st century global economy."
