Today, Congresswoman Jacky Rosen (NV-03) released the following statement on the introduction of the DREAM Act in the Senate.
"Thousands of DREAMers graduate from our schools every year in a country that many know as their only home. These are children who want to come out of the shadows, pay taxes, play by the rules and contribute to our society and our economy. It's time for both sides of the aisle to come together and rise above the Trump administration's divisive rhetoric and regressive actions on immigration by passing bipartisan reform. I applaud the latest bipartisan efforts in the Senate because I believe the DREAM Act represents a major step forward towards fixing our broken immigration system."
