Dear Colleague,
I am inviting you to participate in a meeting with New Jersey Muslim community leaders to hear firsthand their impressions of President Trump's Executive Orders on immigration. This meeting will take place on February 14, 2017 at 4:00 pm.

Regardless of where you stand on the merits of President Trump's Executive Orders on immigration, it is clear that New Jersey constituents are significantly impacted by the implications of this decision. These concerns have been acutely expressed within the Muslim community. As such, I feel it is important that we as a bipartisan delegation have an opportunity to hear directly from our constituents in a private setting.

I am proud that New Jersey has been a positive national model of the rich benefits of diversity and inclusion. I am also humbled by tremendous record of local, state, and federal leadership on behalf that our delegation has collectively achieved. As we continue to carry out the work on behalf of our constituents, I look forward to working closely with each of you to uphold both our national security and founding values.
