"The Department of Veterans Affairs Accountability and Whistleblower Protection Act creates a new, streamlined process to remove, demote, or suspend any VA employee for poor performance or misconduct on a shortened timeline, while still protecting due process rights. This legislation will help keep the VA accountable. Care for our nation's veterans is non-negotiable. We must honor their service and sacrifice with the resolve to give them the very best care possible. I am proud to have supported the passage of this bill."
