Pallone on Withdrawal of Nomination of Andy Puzder as Labor Secretary

Today, Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. released the following statement on Andy Puzder withdrawing himself from consideration for Labor Secretary:

"By making their voices heard and calling their Member of Congress, the American people have rejected Andy Puzder's dangerous views on the minimum wage, paid sick leave, worker protections, overtime pay and preventing unions from fairly negotiating compensation for American workers. They have also made it clear that Mr. Puzder's discriminatory, unethical and unlawful employment practices as owner of Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are completely unacceptable, as well as the horrific allegations of domestic violence.

"If President Trump continues to stand up for special interests and big business at the expense of working families, he will continue to receive opposition from working Americans."
