Rep. Ro Khanna (CA-17) issued the below statement following the conclusion of today's testimony to the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee by former FBI Director James Comey.

"It's unfortunate we have to focus so heavily on getting the facts, while we should be focusing on issues like jobs, health care for all, and government reform. Former FBI Dir. Comey's testimony in the Senate today reiterates the need for an independent investigation, the American people deserve answers. Today's hearing was a step in the right direction for getting those answers, and I encourage the relevant Senate and House committees to continue pursuing the truth."
