Congressman David Rouzer released the statement below regarding the GOP healthcare proposal:
"The GOP healthcare repeal and replacement is a work in progress that will be modified multiple times before passing the House and the Senate. This budget reconciliation bill is the first of three steps to achieving a replacement with the goal of creating more competition and greater access to quality health care. I remain cautiously optimistic that Congress will ultimately come together and pass a reconciliation bill that promotes employment and fiscal restraint."
