Cramer Statement on Court Ruling on Dakota Access Pipeline Construction

Statement

Date: Feb. 13, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

Congressman Kevin Cramer released the following statement about today's decision by U.S. District Judge James Boasberg to deny a temporary restraining order to halt construction on the Dakota Access Pipeline. The Standing Rock Sioux and Cheyenne River Sioux had requested the court action after construction resumed last week when the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers issued the final easement needed to drill beneath the Missouri River at Lake Oahe.

"I am glad to see work will be able to continue without delay on finishing the construction of the pipeline. I hope the work can be completed soon."
