Congressman Kevin Cramer issued the following statement in response to Trans Canada Corporation reapplying for a presidential permit for the Keystone XL Pipeline:
"I'm encouraged by the company's quick response to President Trump's invitation on Tuesday to resubmit its application. With the President's commitment to reach a final permitting determination within 60 days, a new tone is being sent from the White House on reducing the regulatory burden and getting America back to work. This project also furthers our goal of energy security in doing business with our longtime ally and oldest trading partner, Canada."
