US Representative Ted Budd (R-NC) released the following statement regarding the confirmation of the Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch.

I congratulate Neil Gorsuch on his confirmation to the Supreme Court. Throughout his tenure as a judge on the 10th Circuit, Gorsuch has proved his dedication and commitment to the Constitution.

The Supreme Court was established to ensure the other branches of our government stay within their constitutional bounds. Rather than being a super-legislator or seeking certain policy outcomes, I am confident that Judge Gorsuch will examine the facts of each case and apply the law as written.
