Today, Congresswoman Alma Adams (NC-12) released the following statement after Attorney General Jeff Sessions testified before the Senate Intelligence Committee onPresident Trump and Russian interference in the 2016 election.

"Attorney General Sessions' testimony raised more questions than it answered," said Congresswoman Adams. "The American people demand the truth and we must continue to investigate until all details of any inappropriate contact between the Trump campaign and Russia are known. It is now more critical than ever that we have an independent commission to supplement Director Mueller's investigation to ensure the integrity and security of our democracy."
