Scalise on Next Week's Scheduled Vote on the Financial CHOICE Act

Statement

Date: June 2, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.) issued the following statement on the Financial CHOICE Act coming to the floor for a vote next week:

"The Financial CHOICE Act is about creating jobs, growing our economy, and ending taxpayer bailouts of big banks once and for all. American families, Main Street businesses, and community banks are struggling under the massive weight of Dodd-Frank's radical regulations, and I'm glad that next week the House will vote to finally provide relief to these hard-working families and their communities so they can have a better shot at the American dream."

The Financial CHOICE Act is supported by a broad coalition of conservative and Main Street organizations.
