Clark Statment on Syria Strikes

Statement

"Bashar al-Assad's barbaric actions against children and other innocent civilians should compel us all to act, and this administration should begin by reversing its callous stance against families seeking refuge. A military strike does not constitute a comprehensive strategy to prevent future savagery in Syria. Any further military action should not proceed without congressional authorization following a full debate on our country's involvement and the implications for our troops, our ultimate objectives in Syria, and the security of the American people."
