Huizenga Statement on U.S. Army Corps Decision to Dredge Holland and St. Joseph Navigation Channels

Congressman Bill Huizenga (MI-02) released the following statement in response to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers recently announced plan to dredge navigation channels in Holland and St. Joseph:

"Harbors and navigation channels are a vital part of West Michigan's economy," said Congressman Huizenga. "I applaud the Army Corps' decision to dredge the navigation channels in Holland and St. Joseph. The federal government has an obligation to harbor communities in West Michigan and I will continue to work in a bipartisan manner to restore the Harbor Maintenance Trust Fund and hold Washington accountable."
