Congressman Dwight Evans (D-PA-02) released this statement following the resignation of National Security Advisor Michael Flynn:

"President Trump is playing with fire and his miscalculations about the competency of his own team are putting my constituents, hardworking Americans, at risk and I will not accept it. The FBI must accelerate its investigation into the ties between Russia and the Trump White House. My constituents, colleagues in the House, and I have been right about the closeness of Russia and the Trump Administration. We need a bipartisan, independent, outside commission to fully investigate Russia's influence on the Trump Administration and the 2016 election."
