Rokita Supports Trump's Efforts to Keep Our Nation Safe

Congressman Rokita released the following statement following the Administration's request to the Supreme Court to reinstate the travel ban.

"I support President Trump's efforts to keep our nation safe. We should take extra precaution letting immigrants and refugees from nations with known terrorist networks into the United States because we live in a high-threat environment. In the last two weeks, more than 100 innocent lives were taken--22 people died in Manchester, England as a result of terrorism and 80 died in Kabul, Afghanistan in the diplomatic zone as a result of a bomb. We need to keep our country safe and President Trump and Vice President Pence's plans will help prevent another horrific tragedy within our borders."
