Banks: Iran Must Stop Aggressive Behavior or Face Consequences

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, today issued the following statement regarding Iran's recent test of another ballistic missile:

"The previous administration assured the American people that the Iran Deal was a major step towards peace and nonproliferation. Time after time, we have seen that these assurances were empty promises used by the Obama Administration echo chamber to sell a bad deal.

"Iran's recent test of another ballistic missile demonstrates that nothing has changed in Tehran. The Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress will not tolerate this aggressive behavior by the Iranian regime. If Iran wants to continue ignoring agreements, it should be prepared to face consequences."
