Banks Praises New Sanctions Against Iran

Congressman Jim Banks (IN-03), a member of the House Armed Services Committee, today issued the following statement regarding new sanctions issued by the Trump Administration in response to Iran's recent ballistic missile test:

"President Trump vowed a swift response to Iran's recent actions, and I am glad to see him follow through on that commitment. These new sanctions, which target suppliers of Iran's missile program and Iranian groups that assist terrorist organizations, are the right step. Iran must face consequences for its continued aggressive behavior and destabilizing actions."
