U.S. Senator Tim Scott (R-SC) released the following statement after voting to fully fund the government through April:

"My support of the CR provides a bridge to the next administration. I'm looking forward to working on a pro-growth, America-first economic plan that will start to positively impact everyday Americans.

I was also glad to see there has been specific attention placed on ensuring our troops have the resources and funds necessary to sustain them through current missions. They sacrifice so much for us and we should make sure they are equipped for their missions."
