Location: Washington, DC

U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.) met with Linda McMahon this week, President Trump's nominee to lead the Small Business Administration (SBA). Senator Capito invited McMahon to visit West Virginia and released the following statement regarding the meeting:

"As a successful entrepreneur who understands what it takes to start and grow a business, Linda will be an excellent advocate for America's small business community. In West Virginia, our small businesses form the backbone of our economy, and it is critical that they have the tools needed to succeed. One of those tools is broadband access, which I discussed with Linda in our meeting. In order for jobs and businesses to grow in the Mountain State, we must have access to this critical resource. Linda understands this need, and has pledged to work with us to empower entrepreneurs and encourage economic development."
