Daines: Coats Will Protect National Security

U.S. Senator Steve Daines today released the following statement after meeting with President Donald J. Trump's nominee for Director of National Intelligence, former U.S. Senator Dan Coats.

"Dan Coats is a true statesman who has a deep understanding of the threats facing our nation," Daines stated. "Senator Coats served for years on the U.S. Senate Committee on Intelligence and I know that he will prioritize the safety and security of the American people."

During the meeting, Daines hand delivered a letter to Coats inviting him to Montana to deliver a keynote address at the Montana High Tech Jobs Submit October 8-9 in Missoula.
