Today, U.S. Congressman Paul A. Gosar, D.D.S. (AZ-04) released the following statement after President Trump issued executive orders to secure the southern border and enforce immigration laws:

"Finally, we have a president who actually delivers on the promises made to the American people. I'm incredibly pleased to see President Trump taking action to end Sanctuary Cities in only his first week in office. Under the Trump Administration, the Rule of Law is starting to make a comeback in America.

"I especially want to commend the president for remembering in his speech delivered today at the Department of Homeland Security, the life of Grant Ronnebeck, the 21 year-old from Mesa who was killed by an illegal immigrant while working at a convenience store . Securing the border and fully enforcing our immigration laws will save American lives. These executive orders send a clear message, not just across the country but also around the world, that the United States will not stand for lawlessness."
