DeGette Concerned with Reevaluation of Status of Buckley Annex
WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Representative Diana DeGette (D-CO) released the following statement on the Base Realignment and Closure Commission's reevaluation of the status of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Annex at Buckley Air Force Base:
"I am concerned with the decision to reexamine the status of the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) Annex at Buckley. As I wrote Chairman Principi last week, keeping the annex at Buckley open maximizes military value and is the best financial option for our armed forces. Today's action is serious and I remain committed to keeping DFAS Denver open."
