Issues: Taxes Government Budget and Spending
Today, Governor Pete Ricketts issued the following statement on the Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board's downward revision of the state's revenue forecast.
"Today's adjusted forecast underscores the need for continued fiscal restraint from every single state-funded entity. We must tighten our belts and balance the budget without raising taxes."
