Today, Congressman Lou Correa joined fellow Members of the House and Senate Veterans' Affairs Committees to listen to Disabled American Veterans discuss the issues they face at home. Rep. Correa has a long history of fighting for veterans in the California State Senate and Assembly and is continuing that fight here in Washington D.C.
Congressman Correa said, "With the number of Hispanic veterans set to double in ten years, it is vital we ensure the VA has resources available to the families of severely Hispanic veterans in their preferred language. Families need access to resources and people who can help them navigate the VA and care for their wounded loved ones."
