Today, upon learning of Judge Neil Gorsuch's nomination to the Supreme Court by President Trump, Congressman Lou Correa released the following statement:

"For almost a year, Senate Republicans broke our democracy and the Supreme Court. Now, President Trump has nominated a very conservative judge who will not protect the rights of many Americans. The Supreme Court is too valuable to our democracy to be used as a political prop."
