Rep. Correa Joins Congressional Hispanic Caucus In Condemning ACA Repeal

Statement

Date: Jan. 11, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

Today Congressman Lou Correa stood in solidarity with fellow Congressional Hispanic Caucus members in condemning the Republican repeal of the Affordable Care Act.

Congressman Correa said "ACA is essential to Latino communities. Since ACA's creation 4.2 million Latinos gained coverage. 8.8 million have gained access to preventative care. These are not small groups. Obamacare has given Latinos better access to care than we have ever had. Repealing it is a direct assault on the Latino community, and I will not stand by and let millions of Latinos lose their protection."
