Statement

Date: Jan. 25, 2017
Location: Washington, DC

Sen. Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), chairman of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, had this to say following an executive order from President Trump Wednesday:

"As the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee's oversight has shown, our borders are not secure and it is well past time to address that reality and enforce our immigration laws. I welcome President Trump's focus on these problems and look forward to reviewing today's executive orders and working with the administration to accomplish our shared goals."
