U.S. Senator Kelly Ayotte today released the following statement regarding news that Senator Jeff Sessions (R-AL) has been nominated to be Attorney General:
"I want to extend my congratulations to Jeff Sessions on his nomination to be our nation's Attorney General. I have been honored to work alongside him on the Armed Services and Budget Committees, and as New Hampshire's former Attorney General, I wish him the best in this important position for our country."
