Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement on President Obama's claim that Iran is abiding by the nuclear agreement earlier today:

"If "abiding by the agreement" means taking U.S. hostages, developing missiles to deliver nuclear weapons, and ramping up production of nuclear material, then the Iran nuclear agreement is an even worse deal than we thought. In January, a President Trump and a Republican Congress will begin a new policy of resolve toward Iran's ayatollahs."
