Hudson Statement on Administration's Unilateral Move to Lift Restrictions on Cuba

Today, U.S. Representative Richard Hudson (NC-08) released the following statement on the Obama administration's unilateral move to lift trade restrictions on Cuba:
"To this day, the oppressive Castro regime continues to suppress freedom of speech, stifle democracy and carry out brutal human rights abuses. The Obama administration's latest unilateral move to ease trade restrictions will only serve to tighten Castro's grip on power at the expense of the Cuban people. The embargo is the law of the land, and I will continue to stand by it."
