Trump -- Bad for Business

One of Mr. Trump's selling points is that he has been a successful businessman and knows how to make deals. But if we take a closer look, his business record isn't any better than average. Recent research shows that he has met expectations in about a third of his businesses; about one third of his businesses have decidedly mixed results, and about a third of his businesses have been abject failures.

Moreover, his record is pretty clear on how he has treated people that have bought into his ventures. Given his record of how he treats contractors, would you want to be a contractor on one of his projects? Would you want to be a student at Trump University? Would you want to be a beauty contestant in one of his pageants?

So why then would you consider voting for him to be our President? How would he misuse his power to benefit himself at the expense of hardworking American families? I leave that to your own imagination…

One might be drawn in by his celebrity. It is difficult to resist. But if your financial well-being was at stake -- and it is -- you would be wise to resist the allure. Because when it comes to your financial future, the future our economy, and the fate of this country, Trump is clearly bad for business.
