Catherine Cortez Masto and Bernie Sanders Campaign Together, Discuss College Affordability and Taking on Big Banks in Reno

Senator Bernie Sanders and Catherine Cortez Masto campaigned in Reno today, discussing their plan to enact economic policy that will help rebuild the middle class, including making college more affordable, holding the Big Banks accountable, and raising the minimum wage so those working a full time job aren't living in poverty. Sanders and Cortez Masto also highlighted the critical importance of overturning Citizens United to create a political system that works for the people, not just corporations and billionaires.

"As Attorney General, I took on the Big Banks that caused the housing crisis and I look forward to working with Senator Sanders to continue to hold Wall Street accountable," said Catherine Cortez Masto, former Nevada Attorney General and candidate for U.S. Senate. "We need an economy that is working for the middle class, starting with allowing our students to get an education without the burden of a lifetime of debt, and raising the minimum wage so no one has to work two or three jobs to support their family."
