Catherine Cortez Masto To Be Joined By DREAMers, Advocates Against Domestic Violence and Sex Trafficking, And Those Affected By 2008 Housing Crisis At Debate Tonight

Catherine Cortez Masto has invited DREAMers, survivors and advocates against domestic violence and sexual assault, and Nevada homeowners to join her as guests at tonight's KLAS-Univision U.S. Senate debate. Las Vegas businesswomen and sex trafficking advocate Amy Ayoub, and Lola Orvik, a Henderson resident who almost lost her home in the housing crisis, and Jorge Corral, a Nevada DREAMer, will be in attendance to support Catherine Cortez Masto, as she takes on Congressman Heck for his record of putting special interests ahead of Nevadans.

As Attorney General, Catherine Cortez Masto made sex trafficking a crime and fought to give victims the right to sue their traffickers. After the housing crisis, Cortez Masto helped homeowners like Lola keep their homes and helped secure $1.9 billion from big banks to provide relief for Nevada homeowners. Catherine has made immigration reform a central issue in her campaign, and will fight for comprehensive immigration reform as the country's first Latina Senator.
