Running Out Of Time: Desperate Darryl Glenn On the Defensive Throughout Final Colorado U.S. Senate Debate

Tonight's final U.S. Senate debate marked Darryl Glenn's final chance to revive his sagging campaign, but unfortunately for Glenn, he did nothing to change a race that even Republicans (and tonight's moderators) suggest has fallen out of his grasp.

Moderator Kyle Clark kicked off the debate by pressing Glenn four times on whether or not he still supports Trump -- after Glenn took three or four different positions on Trump over the course of 48 hours. Clark eventually had to move on, saying "you're clearly not going to tell us if you support Donald Trump or not tonight and I don't want to waste the entire hour on that."

Glenn then ducked answering questions on his stated refusal to work across the aisle to get anything done. And, Glenn tried, and failed, to mislead voters about his endorsement of Trump's unconstitutional ban on Muslims traveling to the United States.

While Glenn waffled his way through the evening, Michael was specific about his work, across party lines, to get things done for Colorado. He talked about his work to pass immigration reform, to cut down on FDA regulations to approve breakthrough drugs faster, invest in infrastructure and build Colorado's economy.

"Tonight was Darryl Glenn's last big opportunity to rescue his sinking campaign, but instead he spent virtually the entire debate on defense over his waffling on Donald Trump, stated refusal to work across the aisle and support for an unconstitutional ban on Muslims entering the U.S." said Bennet campaign spokesperson Alyssa Roberts."Michael Bennet clearly won tonight's debate because unlike Darryl Glenn, he has a strong record of working with both parties to tackle the challenges facing our nation. Unfortunately for Darryl Glenn, his campaign's out of gas and he's running out of time."
