Today, Governor Maggie Hassan visited the Milford Rotary Club to discuss the priorities she will take to the United States Senate to help hard-working Granite Staters get ahead and stay ahead.

"It was a pleasure to visit the Milford Rotary Club to discuss my vision for a 21st century economy where our small businesses can thrive and all Granite Staters who work hard have the opportunity to succeed," said Governor Maggie Hassan.

Governor Hassan also highlighted the work she has done in the corner office to keep New Hampshire moving in the right direction. As Governor, Maggie Hassan signed two fiscally responsible balanced budgets without an income or sales tax, froze in-state tuition for the first time in 25 years and lowered it at community colleges, and is mounting a comprehensive approach to our heroin and opioid crisis.

The Governor will take this same bipartisan approach to problem-solving to the United States Senate to make progress for New Hampshire families and small businesses. She released her Innovate NH 2.0 economic plan, which outlines the priorities she will take to the United States Senate to build on New Hampshire's economic progress and ensure that all Granite Staters are equipped to succeed in the changing American economy.
