Maggie for New Hampshire today announced a new television ad, "Mom," featuring Governor Maggie Hassan's daughter, Meg Hassan. Meg begins by describing her friendship with her brother Ben and the values passed on to her by her Mom that have always strengthened the Hassan family. Meg goes on to talk about how those same values are what drive her mom's dedication to public service today.

"All families have challenges and my mom instilled in us very early on the importance of finding solutions to those challenges -- and working really hard with your community to get things done," said Meg. "She made it possible for Ben and for me to have a family, just like any other family. That's part of the reason that she got involved in public service because that's what's in her heart."

Maggie Hassan was drawn to public service as an advocate fighting to ensure that children like her son Ben, who experiences severe disabilities, would be fully included in their communities and have the same opportunities that all parents want for their children. And she has continued working ever since to build a stronger, more innovative New Hampshire where all of our citizens are included in our economic success and prosperity.

The 30 second ad will run on New Hampshire and Boston broadcast stations as well as on cable and online as part of our ongoing seven-figure ad buy.
