Kelly: Granite Staters Want To Talk About The Issues Affecting Their Everyday Lives

This morning, Kelly talked with WTSN's Mike Pomp about her independent leadership in the Senate and her focus on the issues that are important to New Hampshire -- a stark contrast to Governor Hassan, who refuses to run a race based on the issues voters care about and instead relies on recycled Washington talking points.

KELLY: I have a strong bipartisan record because I know the people of New Hampshire want us to focus on how we can get things done and get results, driven results, on the problems and challenges that we face.

I think the people get frustrated when people are lockstep like Governor Hassan, recruited in this race by Chuck Schumer, Harry Reid, lockstep with Hillary Clinton. So I am going to really focus on what's right for New Hampshire, be that independent voice, stand up, and also walk with the other side so we can solve some problems.

I think that is where people's frustrations are. And when they see the national dialogue not talking about issues, and not focusing on their everyday lives, and how we can make it more affordable for families in New Hampshire, I can understand their frustrations. That's what people want us to talk about it, that's what I am talking about in this campaign and those are the questions that I want to field from New Hampshire voters and answer for them.
