Senator Richard Burr's special interest allies today continued false attacks on Deborah's clear record of standing with veterans, in a desperate attempt to keep a Senator who works for them and not North Carolina.

"This false attack is just more politics as usual from Burr and his allies. Deborah has made clear flag burning is plain wrong, and as the daughter of an Air Force doctor who treated veterans returning home from Vietnam, she will always stand with our servicemembers. It's telling that dark money special interests are standing with Richard Burr, who has been called the "worst of politics' by veterans' groups and has voted against critical legislation to expand health care and education benefits for our veterans. They don't share our values, and they want a Senator in Washington who represents them, not North Carolina."
