CONGRESSMAN ADERHOLT ANNOUNCES THE ANNUAL FOURTH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT AGRICULTURE AND INDUSTRY TOUR

August 25th & 26th Showcasing Outstanding Examples of
Local Agriculture & Industry in Marshall & Etowah Counties

WASHINGTON, DC -- Congressman Robert Aderholt (R-Haleyville) today announced the dates and locations for the annual Fourth Congressional District Agriculture and Industry Tour.

"Many are surprised at the variety of industry and agriculture right here in our district. I believe this year's tour will have the same affect. We have selected outstanding and unique sites and it promises to again be interesting and informative. We will be touring Mueller Company in Albertville, Lake Guntersville Dam, Dean Sausage in Attalla, Timberlake Alpaca Farm in Glencoe, Wills Creek Vineyards in Duck Springs and will cruise on TVA's Barge.

"By taking two days to tour we will be able to take a more relaxed pace and really get to thoroughly see some examples of the outstanding farms and industry we have in the Fourth District. This tour will remind us just how much we have to be proud of in Alabama as we view the beauty and diversity of our area," said Congressman Aderholt.

The August 25th & 26th event is open to the public. Anyone interested in attending should contact Jennifer Taylor in the Cullman District Office at (256) 734-6043. The registration fee for the two-day event, which includes transportation, dinner and lunch, is $50. There will be a walking tour of each site. Guest must pre-register to attend. Guests also have the option of attending portions of the tour which appeal to their interest. For more information and specific times, contact Jennifer Taylor.
