Cortez Masto Joins Reno Small Business Owners at Latin Chamber of Commerce Breakfast

Today, former Nevada Attorney General and U.S. Senate candidate Catherine Cortez Masto visited the Reno Latin Chamber of Commerce for the group's monthly breakfast meeting to talk about the clear choice in this year's election. Cortez Masto spoke about her commitment to supporting Nevada's small businesses, especially those owned by minorities and women, unlike her opponent, Joe Heck, who has spent over half a decade in Washington voting in favor of big corporations and billionaires like the Koch brothers.

"Small businesses are the backbone of our economy and are integral to our social and economic success," said Cortez Masto. "I will fight to ensure that Nevada's small businesses have the tools they need to prosper, including small business loans and grants, and growing our workforce training and development opportunities. While my opponent Joe Heck thinks that "there's no such thing as a jobs bill,' I will go to Washington and do everything to help strengthen and grow the economy in Nevada. Unlike Joe Heck who only seems to care about helping his billionaire benefactors, the Koch brothers, I will fight to solve problems to help the hardworking families in Nevada."
