In the latest attempt to cover up Kelly Ayotte's record of voting to make birth control more expensive and less accessible for Granite Staters, the Ayotte campaign handed out free condoms to college students at UNH on Saturday. But their sign was more than a little misleading, so we helped them fix it to more accurately reflect Senator Ayotte's real record of undermining a woman's access to birth control and preventive care services:

"Kelly Ayotte has voted to defund Planned Parenthood six times, and has introduced sham legislation that the American Congress of OB-GYNs has said would make birth control more expensive and less accessible," said Maggie for NH Press Secretary Meira Bernstein. "But despite Ayotte's attempts to rewrite her record and fool Granite Staters into thinking she wants to protect their access to birth control, Ayotte's record of voting to block access to critical health services, including affordable birth control, for New Hampshire women is clear."
