For many years George Latimer has shown a willingness to work with any and all of his colleagues and be respectful of every point of view.

During the 2013-2014 legislative session, George Latimer co-sponsored more Republican bills than any other Democrat and was more willing to reach across the aisle to co-sponsor bills than any member of the chamber.

Throughout the 2013-2014 legislative session, Latimer partnered with Senators from across the aisle to:

Vote NO on the re-appointments for all 4 State Board of Regents Candidates for failures on implementation of Common Core

Block the use of TANF Debit Cards for Alcohol, Lottery, or Adult Entertainment Expenditures

Enable School Buses to Carry Cameras to protect students and drivers

Reduce Pension Costs on Local and State Governments, And

Stop the Passage of Future Unfunded Mandates
