Issue Position

Location: Washington, DC

Kelly is committed to giving our kids even better opportunities than she had growing up in New Hampshire.

She is working every day to build a better climate for good paying, 21st century jobs, by boosting high-tech manufacturing, promoting research and development, strengthening transportation infrastructure, and better preparing our young people for the workforce.

Kelly helped her husband Joe start a successful small business, so she knows firsthand that what happens in the Senate has a real impact on Main Street. That's why she's working hard to roll back burdensome regulations and cut red tape for small businesses.

That includes protecting nearly 3,500 New Hampshire jobs by blocking implementation of the medical device tax, and leading the charge to stop an internet sales tax that would hurt New Hampshire's online retailers.

Kelly is also fighting federal regulations that don't make sense for New Hampshire and could put New Hampshire fishermen out of business.

For her work, Kelly has been named a "Hero of Main Street."
